I also taught at DePaul University for 8 years. I've always been interested in creative fields, working in Catering Management, Business Administration and Operations as well as other specialized retail and sales. Ever since I can remember, I've had a passion for design. I was able to dive into this field when I worked with a designer friend. A year later, I was hired at Roy's Furniture as a Design Associate.
What is your signature style?
My style is constantly changing and evolving, incorporating new ideas and concepts. I love to mix mediums such as mid-modern and contemporary with rustic and industrial. I recommend keeping one design as the main base and adding small touches to avoid a hodgepodge of styles. Keeping your look eclectic allows you to create an impact without having to constantly make changes in the future.
Where do you find inspiration?
Inspiration is found in every day elements, whether it is created by people or nature. Photographs are also a huge inspiration since they can capture ideas, textures and colors you wouldn't have thought of.

Where do you find inspiration? On Pinterest. I also love walking around the city and getting inspiration from the buildings and sculptures I encounter.

Education, experience and professional affiliations: I attended Chemeketa College in Oregon. I have worked in design for most of my life in some way or another! Growing up I would always help my mom decorate and re-design, after that I progressed into designing for weddings/events, custom wedding gowns, and even some home staging! Design is a huge part of my life and I love having the ability to enhance that creative outlet daily.
What is your signature style? It falls somewhere between urban modern and nautical, I love having a light and bright space to draw inspiration from.
